My Review :
I first noticed Joe Beats with his dope beats on the Non-Prophets album and since then he's become one of my favorite producers. This is his 2nd solo instrumental release and he also dropped a dope indie rock remix album. Now in 2007 he's on a new label, the excellent Bully Records straight from Montreal. Joe Beats continues his hot streak with another dope release, this album does not dissapoint at all. The beats are very dark & groovy, always with some very dope drums which is the signature sound for Joe Beats. This is a very excellent LP, I would recommend this album to those who where dissapointed with the last DJ Shadow & RJD2 albums. Joe Beats stayed true to his sound and didn't go on some weirdo trip... So far best instrumental hip hop album of 2007.
